One of David’s greatest skills lies in capturing the essence of heavy industry – he understands the drama of vital 24-hour processes and the commitment of the people who make them work. Time and time again, he has also proved that he can work safely in potentially hazardous environments, without endangering himself or others and still deliver outstanding results. He works comfortably with an art director alongside him but, when that isn’t practical, you have confidence that he will still come back with what you are looking for from the most challenging of scenarios. He is also a great exponent of the undervalued art of black and white photography.
